Earning a revenue from your websites or services is always great but the one decision that you need to make is whether you should reinvest that revenue into marketing and if you choose to, what percentage you should reinvest to help with sustainable growth.

As someone who earns revenue and reinvests those earnings into marketing, what percentage have you found has been the best to spend for sustainable growth?

It should be 70 per cent of the revenue. That is just the way that you can get to push your marketing reach to a wider audience. It is not easy to do, but that is something that should be done.

Marketing requires almost 70% of our earnings in order to have a bigger sustainable growth in it. For you to have wider audience and also a growth in that business, 70% of your earnings will go into that.

If you don't have any other outside project that you want to invest into, I think it is better for you to invest back the whole revenue back to the business because that is the only way your business will keep expanding instead of just keeping the money in your bank account.

Even though it is good for you to invest more money into your pre-existing business, it is also very important for you to set some money aside in case there is an emergency that you never planned for. It is not smart for you to invest everything back to the business and don't have any liquid cash at all.

You should have a clear marketing goal that you want achieve by the end of the day. It's not right to just be investing in marketing without having a clear picture of what you're getting out from it. I would say investing 30% to 40% in marketing.
