Do you think affiliate marketing is easy?

Affiliate marketing, the way I understand it means that you sell other peoples goods and services and get paid commissions on them. That means that if you are not able to sell to anyone then you would not be able to make any money. Do people really make a decent living based on that? Is it easy to convince strangers to buy someone else product?

Honestly, I don't think it's easy being into affiliate marketing especially at the beginning. It takes a lot of work but when you've set the whole system in place, after a while, it becomes easy to earn from.

You can make a decent living if you get substantial traffic and are selling something - valuable to that traffic.

Affiliate marketing can be profitable and one can earn a huge sum in a little time but I don't think it is as easy as some people make it look. People need to trust what you are recommending before they will buy through your link. I guess those who make a decent income have learned how to reach the right audience and build that trust over time.
