Selling is more profitable?

Do you think selling is more profitable than being a middle man taking commission. Have you tried it?

I haven't tried being a middle man but all I know is that both are good in their own way but I prefer to be a middle man. Being a middle man is for me to working hard in order to get clients and then take my commission.

If you are selling then you are setting the price range yourself, all the profits from the sales is yours. But a middleman has to work on commission. So its better to be a seller in my own opinion.

Being a middle man can never beat selling yourself. Middlemen are restricted when it comes to making profits. Sellers can do as they deem fit.

The only advantage with being a middleman is that you don't worry about how the product comes about. You only bring clients and earn commission. That said, I don't think middlemen earn as much as the sellers.

The only way I would work as a middle man is when I don't have the skills to do the job myself. If you can get sales, you don't need the services of a middle man to lose part of my money.

There's always going to be a time when the services of the middleman will be cut off permanently. This is why having what you sell on your own is better.

It depends on how many clients the person is working as a middleman for. If those clients are getting a lot of businesses and orders, the middleman will get more paid.

This is actually true. But for the meantime they can as well enjoy it while it lasts. Either of those making use of your services won’t need them anymore eventually.

I think selling individually can be more profitable, but it’s often harder because finding customers takes time. Sometimes commission-based work is easier and more consistent.
