Does your iPhone overheat?

I have a problem with my iPhone 13 whenever I'm using it. I'm not sure if others who uses higher version experience the same thing I do with how my phone overheats. Every small thing, it will become so hot.

What could be the cause of this overheating?

From my experience, I would say that all smartphones overheat whenever you make use of them for a very long time. I have experienced it with using iPhone and also Samsung smartphones.

If you make use of your mobile device while it is charging, it is likely to develop the overheating issues. This is why I will always advise my friends to know when to charge their device and when to use it.

When I was using the iPhone XR and I used to play games on it quite often, especially when it was charging, I found that my phone would overheat to an extent and get quite warm to the touch. It used to worry me so I would close the game and unplug it and let it cool down.

My iPhone used to overheat then when I used an older model. But now that I’ve gotten a more recent one I don’t have any problem with that anymore.

I'm currently using iPhone 17 Pro Max. It doesn't over heat since I start using it. Apple would be mad to make such phone overheat after a while of usage.

All smartphone overheat when they are overused. Also, using or keeping them open in the sun makes them overheat too.

Yeah, that makes sense. Androids can get warm with heavy use, but iPhones seem to overheat faster even with small tasks. It's something I’ve noticed from other people's experiences too.
