Making money though VIP memberships.

One effective way website owners can make money is by having a premium subscription plan for members. They can make certain sections of the website unavailable to free users until they upgrade.

But before you do this, make sure that you have quality that is keeping members glued to your website, else it will be counterproductive.

Unfortunately, this is not something that you can introduce right away on your websites immediately after launch. You would have to build up something that is going to be of much value to your members so that they will be interested in paying for premium membership.

Of course it is not for new websites. Even if the well established sites are not careful it can lead to the decline of interactions on the site. Bit above it all make sure that you give value for what they are paying for.

I've never paid for VIP account upgrade on any forum. I've never had any us for it. If I'm going to pay for it, it would be just to support the forum owner because I'm impressed with what he's doing.
