Do you try to generate traffic through non-web projects? What do you look for before taking this step?

In as much it's a way of leveraging alternative in order to drive interest and engagement, I haven't use any non-web project to generate traffic but the steps to follow are always to know your audience, their interests and what channels do they frequent most. I think this is a big vision because it will help to achieve more.

99% of my website traffic generation comes from using social media sites. I've been paying for ads on Facebook for 5 years and getting good return on all of them.

Non-web projects can be a good way to attract more people, especially through social media and online communities. It is consider as the best place where one can get the target audience and the effort is likely to bring the right people and keep them interested.
