What's your favorite forum software?

William

New member
I have been using forums since 2011 but over the years, I have come to love only one forum software as my favorite. It's XenForo that I love so much. There are other good forum softwares like WordPress, Invision Community and so many more.

What's your own favorite forum software?

I don't have any big plans for website management. It's why I'm only using the free forum software versions for anything I want to do. ProBoards is my favourite forum software I've been using.

I haven't used ProBoards to set up a forum but I've used so many forums where the owner used it. It's a very good and neat free forum software. I like it to be very honest.

It's a neat forum software. I like how the interface was designed to make navigation very easy for those who are using it.

I think there's a paid version of the forum software now. Maybe when I want to run a new forum of my own, I'll check out how good the paid version of the software is.

MyBB is my favourite when it comes to forum softwares. I have special likeness for any forum which used MyBB to build the community. I'll always visit the site every day.

I haven't owned a forum but I've seen how good Xenforo can be. It's why I believe so many forum owners love using it more than any other forum softwares.

Invision Community have been my favourite forum software for a while. I joined a forum that used it and since then, I have fallen in love with it.

I think most of these forum software that comes with free version also have paid version because the reason why they started with free version is to get people to try it out before they can now upgrade to their paid version.

Xenforo is also my favourite when it comes to forum software. I haven't seen any forum software that gives you better than what Xenforo offers.

The reason why people prefer to make use of paid version of forum software is because of the better features and support they get whenever they face challenges using that product.

Yes, that's true. The free versions of forum software is better used to learning and trial and error stages in being a website owner. It will save you money.

The kind of upgraded features with I enjoy working with Xenforo is always going to make a difficult for me to use any other kind of forum software.

Depending on whether I am using free open-source forum software or whether I am using paid software, I have two favourites

Xenforo is my favourite forum software when it comes to premium software
MyBB is my favourite software when it comes to free open-source software. I have always found that MyBB was similar to Xenforo and vBulletin which I always liked.

I don't have a forum yet but I have seen that every forum owners prefer Xenforo to any other forum softwares which means that Xenforo have a better features and support that it render to forum owners.

I don't know why vBulletin is always off for me. I've never liked that Forum software for anything. It's XenForo and MyBB that's my favourite. I've used Wordpress for some things too.

I do not have a single favourite. But if you ask me, Invision Power, Woltlab and Xenforo are the big names in the paid software field.

You practically took the what out of my mouth because I was going to mention exactly the same thing you just did. I don't have any personal favorite but as long as the forum software gives me a good user experience, I'm okay with it. I don't care if it's free or paid, once it delivers, I'm good.
