World Peace and the UN

Is the United Nations still an effective body for world peace? Is UN interfering effectively on world politics? What changes do you want to see?
 
I think they are doing their best to prevent war but unfortunately there are some countries which don't regard whatever the United Nations are saying like Russia.
 
United Nations still remains an international organisation that promotes peace and security. UN is effectively interfering in world politics by helping to prevent and resolve numerous conflicts, saving lives, fostering cooperation and agreement among nations.

The way that some countries are still fighting is what I want to be changed. I want every country to live in peace and harmony.
 
How well do you think the UN handled the war in Ukraine and in the middle east? Were they effective enough?

UN in handling the war in Ukraine and the Middle East is too complex and complicated. They imposed sanctions in Russia, provided humanitarian help to affected populations.

Even though, they made some efforts but their effectiveness was limited. They don't have the ability to stop the conflicts which I know wasn't their fault.
